The Team

GreenBridge Renewables brings together deep solar PV experience, construction-sector delivery knowledge, electrical expertise, operational discipline and strategic renewable energy insight. The team has delivered projects across commercial, public-sector, education, healthcare, residential development and complex built-environment settings, with particular expertise in technically demanding rooftop solar, tall-building applications, biosolar roofing, carports, energy storage and EV charging infrastructure.

Chris Acton

Managing Director

Chris has over 19 years’ experience in the UK solar industry and has been directly involved in the delivery of landmark commercial, public-sector and technically complex solar PV projects.

His experience includes the delivery and oversight of major rooftop solar installations across the NHS, education, Ministry of Defence, national commercial portfolios, academy trusts, care home groups and construction-led developments. Earlier in his career, Chris was involved in what were, at the time, among the UK’s largest commercial rooftop and NHS solar installations.

As Managing Director of GreenBridge Renewables, Chris leads the company’s commercial strategy, client relationships and project approach. His experience combines deep sector knowledge with practical delivery insight, helping clients navigate technically demanding projects, construction programmes, stakeholder requirements and long-term operational value.

Graham Evans

Projects Manager and Technical Lead

Graham has over 23 years’ electrical experience, with the last 16 years focused exclusively on solar PV installation.

He has played a key role in the on-site delivery of solar PV projects across commercial, education, care homes, emergency services, logistics, public-sector and construction environments. Graham holds GreenBridge’s MCS technical certification and has testing and inspection certification, SSSTS, and manufacturer-specific training across major UK solar suppliers. He provides hands-on technical leadership on site, ensuring that installation standards, safety, workmanship and commissioning quality are maintained throughout delivery.

David Hunt

Non Executive Director

David has worked in the renewable energy and cleantech sector since 2007 and brings nearly two decades of solar, commercial growth and sector leadership experience to GreenBridge Renewables.

He was Co-Founder and Sales & Marketing Director of Eco Environments, one of the UK’s most highly accredited renewable energy installers, where he helped scale the business from early-stage growth to multi-million-pound turnover. During that period, David was directly involved in the UK solar market through its formative years and served on the Policy Board of the Renewable Energy Association, contributing to industry discussion during a critical period for the sector.

David now supports GreenBridge as Non-Executive Director, providing strategic guidance on growth, market positioning, partnerships, governance, commercial focus and scaling the business. His experience across solar, cleantech, leadership and business building helps GreenBridge strengthen its position in commercial solar, complex rooftop installations, high-rise solar applications and wider renewable energy infrastructure.

Paul Aspden

Electrical Design Manager

Paul supports GreenBridge Renewables on electrical engineering, strategic project development and technical energy infrastructure planning.

His work focuses on helping clients consider solar PV, energy storage, electrical infrastructure and wider energy strategy in a joined-up way. Paul brings valuable insight at the early stages of projects, where system architecture, network considerations, future expansion and long-term operational performance need to be considered together.

Working with building owners, consultants, network stakeholders and project teams, Paul helps shape practical, scalable and future-ready energy solutions for complex commercial and built-environment projects.
